Medical care under physician direction is a large and important part of long-term care and rehabilitative care services. The Medical Director helps our facility establish sound medical policies and procedures for use by the nursing staff and the independent physicians responsible for prescribing medical care. An attending physician provides direct care to residents and participates in care planning. Residents, however, may elect to have the medical director serve as their personal physician.
